The use of any information, materials, or purchases from Vitality Educational Services LLC is at your own risk. It is the responsibility of the viewer and/or purchaser to ensure that the product(s) or service(s) meet your specific needs. Vitality Educational Services LLC disclaims any liability for any inaccuracy or misuse of the information provided on the site.

Any links or websites shared by Vitality Educational Services LLC are for educational purposes only. We do not endorse these sites and are not responsible for the content on these sites. Please contact the owner of the specific site for any questions or concerns.

Any information provided regarding first aid and other emergency care treatments is supplemental and not meant to be utilized in a manner to omit the need for medical attention or the advice of medical professionals.

Our instructors may teach programs/courses following the guidelines of varying certifying entities. Each certifying agency may have differing views and approaches to similar situations. Please ensure that you are aware of any particular specific program or certifying organization prior to payment and registration for a course. Failure to do so is not the fault of Vitality Educational Services LLC or its instructors. This does not constitute any variation from the outlined reschedule and/or cancellation policy as outlined below. It is also imperative to note any legalities upheld by these organizations, all of which may not be specifically outlined on this website. It is encouraged to review and/or contact them if you have any questions.

Vitality Educational Services LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions as deemed necessary and the modification date will be updated.

Reservation Policy

Your seat in this class is guaranteed by your payment.

Please remember that your space in the class is not held until full registration, including payment, is received. Course spaces are limited and based on available dates and times. Please be sure to verify your selected class type, location, and schedule prior to payment. Upon completion of full registration, it is safely assumed that the customer has thoroughly read and agrees to all stated course requirements. This includes adherence to course expectations and obtaining all necessary equipment, i.e. textbooks, etc.

If full registration (including payment) is not received, a seat in class may not be available for you.

Refunds & Rescheduling Policy

For all in-person or virtual (instructor-led) learning: A 50% deposit is charged for all cancellations prior to 48 hours before the event unless otherwise discussed with the Instructor. No refunds will be granted for cancellations within 48 hours of the event or "No-shows".

Classes may be rescheduled and must be discussed on a case-by-case scenario with the Instructor. However, a $25 fee will be assessed for rescheduling if your request is made within 3 days (72 hours) of the originally scheduled course.

For all online courses: Due to the nature of online training, all sales are final.

Textbooks can be returned if unopened and original packaging intact. However, a 15% restocking fee will incur. Opened or damaged books will not be eligible for return.

Any issues with shipped items must be reported to Vitality Educational Services LLC within 24-48 hours of receipt of the product. Failure to abide by this may delay or inhibit resolution of the issue.

Any mutually agreed special terms and conditions discussed during the registration process will supersede our refund and rescheduling policy.

Attendance & Participation Expectations

Payment Methods

Full attendance to all sessions is required to receive a certificate of completion as applicable. See refunds and rescheduling policy for additional information as details may vary based on class type.
It is an expectation that all students arrive on time for both in-person and virtual sessions. As we understand that uncontrollable events may occur, it is required that students notify the instructor if unable to attend at the scheduled start time. A 30-minute grace period will be allowed before the student will be deemed absent from the session. Failure to meet this window will be treated as a reschedule or a no-call, no show at the instructor's discretion (See Refund & Rescheduling Policy outlined above). Recurrent tardies will not be acceptable. Multiple tardies will result in failure to complete the course at the student's expense, unless otherwise approved by the instructor.

It is the instructor's expectation that students arrive to class ready to engage and complete classroom requirements. Behaviors, such as sleeping, refusal to engage and complete tasks, intentional class disruptions, unacceptable attitudes, and other inappropriate actions, will warrant immediate dismissal from class and loss of associated costs.

Cancellations

Vitality Educational Services LLC reserves the right to cancel a class due to severe weather, low enrollment, or other emergencies. A minimum number of attendees may be required for certain courses.

In the event of a necessary cancellation, each student will be notified at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled class time, when possible. Exceptions will only be allowable for emergency, unforeseen circumstances. Refunds are not issued due to weather cancellations. To ensure student safety, the class will be rescheduled. If the rescheduled date or time does not meet the student's needs, he/she may transfer to a different class at his/her convenience. The instructor will do everything possible to get you into the next available class. The reschedule fee will be waived for courses rescheduled by Vitality Educational Services LLC.

Returned Checks

Vitality Educational Services LLC will not accept personal checks from individual students (self-registered). However, there are several other payment methods available via the website. Please contact an instructor at your earliest convenience if you have any issues or questions regarding payment as your registration is not complete and your spot will not be held without full payment.

Checks will only be accepted from businesses. Any check that is returned due to insufficient funds will incur an additional fee of $25.00 before the certificate will be issued to the customer/student. If the certificate has already been issued, the student will be required to IMMEDIATELY send the total amount due, including the additional $25 fee. Failure to comply within 7 days will result in notification of the American Heart Association (or other training organizations) and school/employer that the student's certificate was obtained fraudulently. Vitality Educational Services LLC is not held liable for any resulting consequences.

Replacement Cards

Card fees are managed by the certifying agency. A fee may be charged for replacement if required by the agency. Please contact an instructor for questions or issues.

Pricing

Vitality Educational Services LLC reserves the right to adjust pricing based on market rates and changes in material costs. Prices are locked at the time of booking/purchase. Prices will not be adjusted based on promotions, sales, specials, etc. that begin after purchase completion. Please contact an instructor for questions, if needed, prior to completing the purchase.

Shipping and Handling

Shipping & Handling charges are the responsibility of the student/purchaser. Fees will be applied at checkout as listed on the website. Please contact an instructor prior to purchase if there are any questions regarding shipping.

Traveling Fee

Vitality Educational Services is committed to building a positive working relationship with our customers. For applicable courses, we are willing to travel to a suitable location of your choice to complete your training. The traveling fee will be $30.00 up to 50 miles (round-trip) from the training center (1061 Union Street, Concord NC) and $60.00 for anything greater (up to 100 miles). Please contract an instructor for applicable traveling courses.

Waiver of Liability

Please note that participation in any course or activity offered by Vitality Educational Services LLC is completely voluntary. However, the minimum expectations for the course must be completed successfully to obtain a certificate of completion/card.

Due to the nature of the courses, some physical skills and role-play may be required. Although unlikely, it is the understanding of each participant by agreement to complete a course, that any injury as a direct result of participation is not the responsibility of Vitality Educational Services LLC. Additionally, it is expected that each student maintains all personal belongings. Lost or stolen property is not a reflection of Vitality Educational Services LLC. We will not be held liable for missing or damaged items.

American Heart Association Disclaimer

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and PALS, and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials do not represent income to the Association.

Registration for courses and/or purchases via the website grant an understanding of these Terms & Conditions. Vitality Educational Services LLC assumes no liability for failure to review this information.
